1. Who we are
This site, hub.pefwil.com (the “Founder Hub”), is operated by Pefwil, trading as Pefwil and Pefwil Founder Hub (“we”, “us”, “our”). Pefwil is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers hub.pefwil.com only. Our other sites publish their own notices: pefwil.com, Pefwil Growth Hub and Smart Ousia.
3. What we collect
When you complete the enquiry form
- Your name, email address, phone number and the city and country you are based in.
- Your business name, the stage you are at, a description of what you are building, and the kinds of support you have asked for.
- Any files you choose to attach — for example a pitch deck, business plan or photographs. Attachments are optional.
When you subscribe to the newsletter
- Your name (optional) and your email address.
- The date and time you subscribed and the IP address the subscription came from, which we keep as a record of your consent.
Automatically
- Standard web server logs kept by our hosting provider, which may include your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested.
- Information used by Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real visitors from automated spam when you submit a form — see section 6.
We do not ask for special category data (health, ethnicity, religion, politics, trade union membership, sexual orientation or biometrics). Please do not include it in your enquiry or in an attachment.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered whether those interests are overridden by your rights. You can ask us about that assessment and you can object — see section 9.
5. Who we share it with
- Our hosting provider, which stores this site and delivers the email your enquiry generates.
- Cloudflare, which provides the Turnstile anti-spam check on our forms.
- Professional advisers — lawyers, accountants and insurers — where we genuinely need to.
- Authorities and regulators, where we are legally required to disclose.
Your enquiry is sent to us by email and is read by the Pefwil team. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to train generative AI models.
If we later introduce an email marketing platform, a CRM or analytics, we will name the provider in this policy before it starts processing your data.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small amount of browser storage to keep the site working and to remember your preferences:

We do not currently run analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site. If we introduce analytics, it will only load after you choose “Accept all”. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page.
7. International transfers
We are based in Ireland and store data in the EU/EEA where we can. Cloudflare operates a global network, so an anti-spam check may be handled outside the EEA. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA we rely on an adequacy decision, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses with additional safeguards where needed. You can request a copy of the safeguards we use by emailing info@pefwil.com.
8. How long we keep it

Attachments you send through the form are emailed to us and are not stored on this website’s server.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to ask us to delete it, to ask us to restrict processing, to receive it in a portable format, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to object to direct marketing at any time, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these, email info@pefwil.com. We will respond within one month and may ask you to verify your identity. There is normally no charge.
Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email us to opt out at any time.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission, 6 Pembroke Row, Dublin 2, D02 X963 — www.dataprotection.ie — phone +353 1 765 0100 / 1800 437 737. If you live in another EU/EEA country you may complain to your local supervisory authority instead.
10. Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls limiting who can read enquiries, and anti-spam checks on our forms. No system is completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a high risk to your rights, we will notify you and the Data Protection Commission as required by law.
11. Children
The Founder Hub is intended for adults aged 18 and over, and our founder support programmes are aimed at founders aged 21 to 30. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email info@pefwil.com and we will delete it.
12. Other sites we link to
This site links to pefwil.com, the Pefwil Growth Hub and Smart Ousia, and may link to funding bodies and partner organisations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate. Read their notices before sharing your data with them.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always posted here with its “Last updated” date. Where changes are significant we will say so on the homepage.
